A death row pardon two minutes too late... because the governor was too busy watching Law and Order to grant clemency any earlier.

A traffic jam when you're already late... to receive an award for reducing the city's road congestion by 75%.

Meeting the man of your dreams and then meeting his beautiful wife... who happens to be the counselor you consulted in the hopes of improving your luck with the opposite sex.

Now isn't this "IRONIC"... that Alanis Morissette song?

Yes, it is. But actually, this song has no ironies in it. It just depicted examples of things that suck. However, because the song title is "Ironic" yet contains no ironies, the song itself is ironic.

Mind fuck, eh? Just like how our strengths tend to be our weaknesses, too. Isn't it ironic that the things (and people) that make us strong can, in a sudden turn of events, leave us powerless? How something (or someone) makes you happy then extremely sad the next minute?

Now I ask you again, isn't it ironic?

No, it just sucks.
