Reward to Self

I am a sucker for romantic movies. Having said this, you'd prolly understand why I wanted to check out two movies badly. Watched Unofficially Yours last Feb, and yesterday, it was time for The Vow.

We were supposed to meet up at 3pm, but I showed up 1 1/2 hours late, missing the 4.10pm schedule. After waiting for hours, we got in the cinema at 6pm.

I only have 4 things to say about the movie:

  1. Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams look good together as a couple.
  2.  It's a fresh concept, yet it lacks unpredictable twists and substance. I came in ready with a pack of tissue but I wasn't able to cry hard enough to use them. It's sad but not soul-crushing.
  3. It's a perfect Valentine's day movie since it focuses on the feelings that bring couples together. But that's about it. We hardly had anything to talk about after the credits rolled in.
  4. Curse the kid in front of us who kept on standing and talking when the scenes were supposed to be good. Half of the reason why I didn't cry so much should be blamed unto him.

Headed to Yellow Tree Cafe after the movie. It was total bonding time! Conversations over food are always the best.

Cute interiors! Crisp and modern
